    We are currently seeking an Architect.

     

    Successful candidates will be passionate about design; detail-oriented; efficient; devoted to quality output; able to work independently, as well as in a team environment; possess the organizational skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines; and have excellent communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities will include working side by side in a team environment with our Project Managers, Project Architects, Interior Designers, and Intern Architects on active production projects as well as contributing to other design and marketing efforts undertaken by the firm.  As such, you will play an integral part in overall client satisfaction, design quality and profitability of all projects undertaken that contribute to the firm’s strategic priorities.

    Qualifications

    Qualified applicants possess an Accredited Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture;  SC Registered Architect; a progressive work history with 3-5 years of experience in an architecture firm, including 1-year of applied experience using AutoDesk Revit Architecture, in a professional design practice. Design experience in manufacturing and industrial projects as well as Department of Defense (DoD), Army Corp of Engineers (COE), and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) projects is preferred.

     

    LEED accreditation or interest in achieving accreditation is preferred. SC Registered Architect or ability to become SC Registered Architect within 6-months of hire is required for Architect candidates. Design experience is necessary. Experience with graphics software such as Google SketchUp and 3D Studio Max is an advantage.

    • Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills;
    • Understanding of the design and procurement process;
    • Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and clients;
    • Ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle stressful situations;
    • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversight;
    • Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents.
    • Proficiency in REVIT is preferred;
    • Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, ANSI 117.1, BOMA;
    • Understanding of sustainable material selection for LEED compliance.

     

    Work Environment

    Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting.
